Denisonboston has become renowned for its modernist take on men’s accessories and this season is no different. Form, pattern and colour are key to our design philosophy for Autumn Winter 2009 – and these attributes form the basis of our three signature ranges:

SPECTRUM
The SPECTRUM collection was developed in collaboration with leading English tailors. Colour technicians match swatches from silk suit linings to create brighter hues of pink, ruby red, purple, green and blue. Each cufflink inlayed with stainless steel pattern and detail, then hand enamelled and finished in our Brighton studio, to form a rich, gem-like colour.

ALLOY
The ALLOY range takes modernist forms from architecture, technology and sci-fi, engineering them into functional metallic shapes. Signified by names including V8, Targa, Stealth and Lanspeed, the collection is finished in black graphite, stainless steel and gold.

LANDMARK
Our LANDMARK collection draws on signature styles and materials developed for formalwear, including semi-precious stones such as black onyx and mother of pearl. New for this season are two completely new materials, tiger’s eye and grey abalone. As well as cufflinks in a wider selection of signature styles, we have extended this luxury line to include tie slides and lapel pins and developed a range of collar stays in all 4 semi precious materials.

Everything in the denisonboston range is hand finished and enamelled in Brighton, England and comes in a highly innovative grey gloss presentation box with our signature rotating top and ‘db’ motif.

Coming soon
Future arrivals include premium silks and fine grey leathers. Ties, wallets, business card holders and reversible belts have been created using our ’superdot’ and ’stripe’ patterns with fine colour detailing.

Jonathan Boston, Managing Director of denisonboston said; “The spectrum range has gone from strength to strength in popularity with the colours becoming even more vibrant. As well as extending the range in mother of pearl and black onyx we have developed new lines in tigers eye and abalone which gives a new dimension of colour and texture and gives the range a more natural feel.”

denisonboston launch lookbook, website & new branding

Sunday, July 19th, 2009

press3 press

denisonboston today launch a new brand logo, lookbook and website to coincide with the launch of a new collection for Autumn Winter 2009.

Now in its seventh year of business denisonboston has evolved and grown to be a leading British Mens accessories brand stocked in stores worldwide, the look and feel of the brand was restyled to reflect this.

It was felt that a move towards lifestyle photographs and away from product type shots was decided and denisonboston Managing Director looked to Brighton Creative talent pools to come up with a concept. Jonathan Boston said, “It was time to bring the Brighton Creative Mafia onboard to take our brand to the next level. I knew that Brighton had a wealth of creative talent and wanted to utilize local creatives who I knew would be perfect for this project.

A team of Brighton creative photographers, stylists, make-up artists and models were called upon to define the denisonboston brand in pictures. Esteemed fashion photographer DarkDaze and the Garage Studios team came up with the concept and looked after the lighting and shoot. Garage studios designed 4 backdrops taking the look from the 60’s to present day, trying to encompass such iconic motifs like Bond, Get Carter, Classic British cool, Mod Styling and Brighton- but in a new, refreshing way. Styling was by Emma Sandlam-King and Stevi Jelbart from Ophelia Fancy, and make-up and hair was provided by Janeen Cove and Gary Evans from Square Roots.

The full series of photographs are used in this season’s look book and on the new brand website built by Paul Burgess at Delarge.

New brand guidelines and a locked in logo were developed by the in-house team and outside consultants to produce a style which defined the brand and its British origins.
